Five for Friday-Spring Break & a FREEBIE!

Good morning everyone! I hope you all are having a fantastic Friday! I'm enjoying the tail end of my Spring Break with relaxing and watching Golden Girls! I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching to share what's been going on this week!

New FREEBIE! This week I created these adorable posters with one of my favorite quotes!

I'm currently working on this Daily Language book! Click {HERE} to read more about it!
I also created another font for $1.00 at my TPT store! I'm just loving hand drawn fonts!
My spring break has consisted of cuddling with my 3 fur babies, watching a lot of Criminal Minds on Netflix, creating products for my TPT store, and going on runs with my mom! I'm trying to work back up to 6 miles. Right now I'm at 4. Yesterday we went on a 4 mile trail run. I am definitely out of shape when it comes to running on trails. Running on the road is much different than running up and downhill in the woods! ha!

Now I just need to get motivated to finish grading all these papers!

I hope you all have a happy Friday and a great weekend! Talk to you soon!

April Currently

Good morning everyone,

I'm linking up with Oh Boy! Fourth Grade for her Currently Linky. I'm so excited to link up with this linky, because I have not participated in a while.

Loving:
I adore my mini-mi avatar from Lovelytocu Graphics! Isn't she gorgeous? I think she makes my blog header look much better!
If you would like your own personal avatar check her out:

Thinking:
You can read about the prank I played on my students {HERE}.

Wanting:
I mean, doesn't this just look divine??
Needing:
My husband and I are definitely in need of some prayer. We are dealing with some family/personal issues. We believe in the power of prayer. So, if you're willing, please pray for us!

Today:

Today is our Spirit Day and honors assembly. I'm so excited about Spring Break y'all! I may just have to celebrate tonight and get some sushi! :-p

A beautiful plant a student brought me. I always tell my hubby #OnlyatACSteere
I have the best students and parents in the whole world!

Another student brought me this adorable Easter gift. Under the bunny was a Hershey's kiss. haha

I hope you all have a wonderful Spring Break!!

July Currently

Today I'm linking up with Oh' Boy 4th Grade for their monthly linky!

Listening: I've been working in my classroom for the last few weeks, and I am obsessed with my Jackie Wilson station on Pandora! Love me some oldies!

Loving: I love that I can sleep in! It's so nice to wake up after my hubby for once!

Thinking: I can't believe there is only one month left of summer! I've been working so hard this summer, and I'm very proud of myself. I'm looking forward to next week! I'll get a little vacation.

Wanting: I always want new clothes, but what woman doesn't!? haha Also, I really want this door decoration from nursejenneg.

Needing: I'm currently reading The Apprenticeship of Lucas Whitaker by Cynthia DeFeliece. I have two more novels to read this summer before the school year starts!

4th Plans: On the 4th Treg and I are driving down to Arkansas to visit my Dad, his wife Becky, and my grandparents. We're just going to have a chill celebration at their house in the country. :) On Sunday we will be leaving to Ocean Springs, Mississippi, to go to the beach! Treg has a training for his job down there, so I'm tagging along for fun. :)

Bright Idea: Sunshines

Sunshines were a bright idea given to me by a fabulous teacher, Amanda. Sunshines are anonymous nots that the students write at the beginning of each week. Each student draws another student's name from a bucket. That student must write an anonymous compliment or positive statement to the student he or sure drew from the bucket.

Throughout the week, the teacher pulls the sunshines to help brighten the student's day. When the teacher says, "It's time for sunshines," the students pound on their desk to make the sound of thunder. The teacher pulls one or two cards and reads them aloud. The student that the teacher pulls stands on his or her chair. Once the card is read aloud, the teacher gives the card to the student, and the other students give an applause. This brightens students days! This is a great motivational technique!
